Ricky and Kaitlin's kitchen on Ligonier Street
A husband and wife who already ate this way, a year of weighing every meal, and friends who wouldn't stop asking for food.
It started with friends asking
Healthy eating was already how Ricky and Kaitlin lived. Ricky lifts and competes as a heavyweight bodybuilder, and Kaitlin runs. For a year he weighed and tracked every meal under his coach, and he learned how to make food that fits a plan without tasting like a plan.
Friends kept asking him to cook for them. Near the end of 2020 the two of them made it official, taking online orders for custom meals and meeting customers around the county to hand them off.
About a year later they opened RKM Kitchen at 1307 Ligonier Street in Latrobe, a storefront with its own commercial kitchen and a grab-and-go fridge.
